The whole hotel is full of political artworks of various kinds including an extraordinary installation depicting a monstrous House of Commons. My iPhone snaps (below) don't quite do it justice but go see it for yourself in the hotel lobby - the government, front and backbenches populated by Daleks, Stars Wars characters, gremlins, Hobbits and various other cartoon characters.

Westminster finally gets a politically-themed hotel to match Washington's Hay Adams
By Tim Montgomerie, Conservativehome Website
On Thursday evening I toured the new InterContinental hotel in Westminster. I think it's set to become a hugely popular place for many Westminster villagers. It has some great bars, restaurants and reception rooms. I particularly like its Blue Boar pub-style bar - its walls covered with political cartoons, including from Gerald Scarfe. It reminded me of the Off the Record downstairs bar of the Hay Adams Hotel in Washington.
