Former Eastbourne MP, Nigel Waterson joins the campaignto #upgradeA27now

Nigel Waterson was the MP for Eastbourne from 1992 to 2010 and during his eighteen years service to Eastbourne and Willingdon he campaigned heavily for the A27 to be upgraded between Polegate and Lewes.

This week, Nigel said:

“Improving the A27 was a huge priority for me throughout my time as the local MP. The road is lethally dangerous, environmentally damaging and a real block on economic development and job creation in the Eastbourne area. Much of the opposition to these essential improvements has come from the Lib-Dem MP for Lewes, Norman Baker. He and the Government need to understand the depth of public support for a bog standard dual carriageway along this route. I commend this campaign which has my full support.”

If like Nigel you agree that the road needs to be upgraded as a matter of urgency, please sign the e-petition by clicking on the following link:http://ow.ly/1PGSPZ  and encourage all your friends, family and colleagues to do the same.
