East Sussex County Council, Deputy Leader, Cllr Keith Glazier supports the campaign to #upgradeA27now

Cllr Keith Glazier has this week added his support to the campaign to upgrade the A27 between Polegate and Beddingham and as Cabinet Member responsible for Finance, Community & Resources, Keith understands only too well how this dreadful stretch of road holds our County back. Keith said;

"I am very pleased to add my support to the campaign to upgrade the A27 between Beddingham and Polegate. Residents, motorists and businesses have already waited far too long for these much needed improvements and through my work as Deputy Leader of the Council I am crucially aware of the negative impact this overcrowded, crumbling piece of infastructure has on a wide area of our County. Regular accidents, congestion and pollution (both along the route but also in neighbouring villages, lanes and on alternative routes), lost hours, reduced efficiency, custom and potential growth for local businesses all combine to underline the need to upgrade this road as a matter of urgency".

If you share Keith's view and would like to help us spread the word, please get in touch and tell us why you think upgrading the A27 is important: e-mails to councillor.warner@eastbourne.gov.uk
